Magda
Spanish Teacher
¡Hola! I have been a Spanish teacher for over 8 years. I spent two decades living in sunny Spain, where I completely fell in love with the culture, the people, and the language. My goal is to pass on this passion to anyone wishing to learn Spanish, regardless of their age or level. I love travelling—not just around Spain, and not just on land, as sailing is another big passion of mine. I am fascinated by nature and animals, and I love cycling and dancing, especially doing Zumba to Latin music. I prepare meticulously for every single lesson and always do my best to adapt to my students' learning pace. I also enrich my classes with short videos and games to keep every session varied and engaging. If you are looking for lessons filled with smiles and great energy, come and join me! ¡Hasta luego!

The story of ALGO
This is not another ‘I quit my corporate job and put all my eggs in one basket’ story. I have never worked a full-time job, but I have always known what professional path I wanted to pursue. As a child I dreamt of becoming a teacher, a CEO and tour guide. I taught dolls, stamped invoices for my teddy bears and, when I was on holidays, I pictured myself guiding an international group of tourists. Grown-ups told me that it was impossible to combine those three professions and they advised me to choose just one. Now I can confidently say that either I am still a child or they were wrong, because I am combining all these functions in one thus fulfilling my childhood dream. My unconventional study path has also been of help to me. In addition to a degree in philology, I also graduated from business communication studies. That was not an obvious choice for a language teacher and was even criticised. However, the skills I gained there come in handy every day for managing my own business and teaching business language. The moral of this story is that it is not always worth listening to older people, but is certainly worth chasing your dreams and consistently working towards your goals. This is how my ALGO language centre originated.
