What does such a course look like?
We will meet for 4 private classes 90 min each on convenient days.
We will cover the basics of the international phonetic alphabet: vowels, diphthongs and consonants.
We will point out the key differences between standard British and standard American pronunciation.
The theory comes with examples and practical exercises.
You will get homework with specific pronunciation exercises.
Will you sound like a native speaker after completing this workshop? No. 😊 The aim of these classes is to introduce you to and practise the basics of the RP (Standard British pronunciation). Learning pronunciation is a long process and requires regular practice. During the workshop you will find out how to practise on your own and what to pay attention to when speaking English.
The price of the workshop, which includes 4 individual 90-min sessions each is 276€.
